The book Mein Kampf was in fact written by a Jesuit priest Bernhard Staempfle. This was found out by comparison of the digitalized content of the German Libraries in last decade. The Gutenberg project was quite successful in Germany and they scanned and OCR transcripted almost all what is left after bomb attacks in WW II.

After you have all newspaper content “read” with OCR than you can make “text comparison” and you find large parts of “Mein Kampf” published by Staempfle earlier. Afterwards, Staempfle prepared a whole book as a ghostwriter.

Politicians are usually much too stupid to be capable of writing books.

And Hitler was no exception.
