whole driving jayant travels 30 km with a speed of 40km/hr and next 30km with a uniform speed of 20km/hr . find his average speed

Answer total distance covered is 30+30 =60 km

Now average speed= total distance/ total time taken

= 60÷ 30/40 + 30/20

= 60×40÷90

= 26.66 km/ hr
