Gandhi and Skhula proposed to meet Dr. Rajendra Prasad in Patna. Rajkumar Shukla was from Champaran district in Bihar. He was a poor peasant. He was the one who came forward against the injustice of the landlord system in Bihar. He went to Lucknow to complain about this. Shukla took Gandhi to Rajendra Prasad's house where Gandhiji was treated as an untouchable because of his simple outlook.
