The people of the Indus region also worshiped trees. The picture of a deity is represented on a seal in the midst of the branches of a Pipal tree. Animals were also worshiped in Harappan times, and many of them are represented on seals. The most important of them is the humped bull. A seal depicting a 3 headed horned god, with animals surrounding him indicate the prototype of Shiva. They also worshiped many other gods also in the form of trees, animals, and human beings.
