Ryuga is a former member of the Dark Nebula and was Gingka Hagane's ultimate rival. He was the primary test subject to contain and control the power of the Forbidden Bey. He was put to sleep inside a capsule in the Dark Nebula Castle, and woke up in Gingka’s presence. He was stronger than Gingka — in all but one battle against him, Ryuga came out on top. He is a Legendary Blader as well, specifically the Blader of Summer, as one of the Bladers of the Four Seasons.
