The Barasingha is a species of deer, which is found in the India subcontinent. Also known as the Swamp Deer, the little numbers that survive today are found mainly in southwestern Nepal and in northern and central India.

Unlike other Indian deer species, the antlers of Barasingha have three or more branches. Mature Barasingha are said to have up to twenty branches in their antlers.
