Area of square = (side)²

(10cm)²= 100cm²

Area of rectangle = l×b

5cm×3cm=15cm²

Area of square will be more

  • Side of a square = 10cm
  • Length of the rectangle = 3 cm
  • Breadth of the rectangle = 5 cm

To Find :-

  • Whose area is more.

Solution :-

◕  Area of a square :-

\pink{\leadsto\:\:\:}\sf{(10)^2}

\pink{\leadsto\:\:\:}\sf{100\:cm^2}

◕ Area of a rectangle :-

\purple{\leadsto\:\:\:}\sf{Length \times Breadth}

\purple{\leadsto\:\:\:}\sf{3 \times 5}

\purple{\leadsto\:\:\:}\sf{15\:cm^2}

»  Hence, the area of square is more than area of the rectangle.
