Whose surface area is increased in mitochondria?? Is it organelle’s or inner membrane ‘s surface area increases due to folding. Plz don’t copy the same as in internet

the surface area of inner membrane increases due to formation of infoldings called cristae...towards the matrix...... for increasing the surface area for enzyme related reactions.....
