There are various ways in which waste products are generated in plants :
1) Oxygen itself is a waste product for the plants. It is eliminated through stomata.
2) There are various waste products stored in old xylem and old leaves. These old leaves are shed off later on.
3) Latex, resin and gum are also waste products of the plant.
