In Physics, when Force is applied on an Object and some displacement occurs in the direction of the application of the Force, then work is said to be done.

If the displacement is Zero, then whatever be the amount of the applied force, work done will be zero in this case.

Hey mate!

Here's your answer!!

◾️Work is said to be done when a force produces a displacement in the body and acts in any direction except perpendicular to the direction of displacement.

◾️Work = Force×Displacement

◾️Unit of work :-

✔️Work done is said to be 1 joule if one N force acting on a body displaces a body through 1 m in its own direction.

◾️In chemistry, Work is process by which energy is transferred between systems. This definition is similar to transfer of thermal energy between system is called heat. Work is force multiplied by displacement of the body in the direction of the force is simple and practical definition of mechanical work.

hope \: it \: helps \: you..
