Codominance is a relationship between two versions of a gene. Individuals receive one version of a gene, called an allele, from each parent. If the alleles are different, the dominant allele usually will be expressed, while the effect of the other allele, called recessive, is masked.

Codominance is the relation between two version/types of a gene.
Individuals as we know, recieve one version of the gene from either of the two parents.
Going by definition, It is

"Codominance is a form of dominance wherein the alleles of a gene pair in a heterozygote are fully expressed. "

Hope it helps!
