Human Development index-The Human Development Index is a comparison  of life expectancy, education, and per capita income indicators, which are used to rank countries into four tiers of human development.The HDI was developed by Pakistani economist Mahbub ul Haq for the UNDP.

It is the best indicator of a country's development.

HDI means Human Development Index.
HDI is published by the UNDP.
1.It indicates the level of development of a country.

2.It indicates to a country how far it had travelled and how far it has yet to travel to achieve high ranks in matters such as per capita income of the country.

3.One comes to know the important welfare elements such as life expectancy, literacy level,educational level, and health status of the country's people.
