➡️The melting point of a substance is the temperature at which this substance goes from the solid state to the liquid one, at a normal pressure.

➡️The boiling point of a substance is the temperature at which the vapor pressure of a liquid equals the pressure surrounding the liquid and the liquid changes into a vapor.

•The boiling point of a liquid varies depending upon the surrounding environmental pressure.

Melting point :

it is the temperature at which the both liquid and solid phase exists at equilibrium.

Boiling point :

The boiling point of a liquid is the temperature at which the vapour pressure of the liquid becomes equal to the atmospheric pressure of the liquid’s environment.

At this temperature, the liquid is converted into a vapour.
