physical maturity is an age related concept and is said to occur where the level of physical development is commensurate with a given age level. So for example we might say that a 12 year old is physically mature for their age.

Physical Maturity is the age at which major changes start taking place in the body. These changes start usually around the age of 12 years in humans.
Also when the physical maturity age is attended, the person can be said to be an adolescent teenager.
