Answer:

WBC (white blood cells) , one of the cell of body makes to help fight infections. There several type of white blood cells (leukocytes). The two most common type are lymphocytes and neutrophils.

Lymphocytes are made in lymphoid tissue , in the spleen, lymph nodes , and thymus gland. There are different types of lymphocytes. Lymphocytes identify foreign substances from germs (bacteria or viruses) in the body and produce antibiotic and cell that specifically targeted them. It takes several days to weeks for lymphocytes to recognise and attack a new foreign substance.

Neutrophils are also measure player's in the body defence against bacterial infections . Neutrophils are made in bone marrow and circulate in bloodstream. Neutrophils move out from the blood vessels into the infected tissue to attack the bacteria.

Normally, a serious bacterial infection cause the body to produce an increase number of neutrophils , resulting in a higher then normal white blood cells count. When the WBC is low, there may be enough neutrophils to defend against bacterial infection.

The white blood cell count is done by counting the number of white blood cell in a sample of blood. A normal WBC is in the range of 4,000 to 11,000 cells per microlitre.
