A solar system is a collection of the Sun, eight planets and their moons, comets, asteroids, meteoroids, and dwarf planets revolving around the Sun. The eight planets revolving around the Sun in a sequence are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune (Also pluto but it is not considered as a planet in the Solar System)
