because anything divided by zero is undefined in mathematics. so its not valid.

lets suppose you want to distribute candies to children in a park. Now, 0/0 is like standing in an empty park with no candies in your hands. There is no point doing that when you were supposed to be distributing candies, right? that is why it is considered as invalid, but for calculations we take it as equal to 0 only.
