Why 1/4 and –1 are the zeroes of p(x) = 4x2 + 3x – 1 ?

Answer: Because When we Put x =1/4 then then p(x) will become zero

Step-by-step explanation: 4×(1/4)^2 +3×1/4 -1

= 1/4+3/4 -1

=0

Similarly when x=-1 then again p(x) =0
