why 10 is (-) in the case of convex mirror ?????​

Answer:

Because we keep the objects always in the left hand side and the distance of the object will be always negative.. Either it is concave or convex MIRROR..

the image formed is real i.e it can be obtained on a screen . so d will be some cm or m inside the screen ( mirror ) in that case the distance is in virtual word because we cannot move to that distance , thus always distance in virtual world is (-ve ) and in real world (+ ve )

also

because light and object are coming from same direction so the distance is negative . the 1st answer above is usualy for College students not in Xth
