Why 100 kg of cotton weight in air will be heavier than hundred kg of iron weight in air? Plz explain in ur own words.

100kg cotton will be more heavier than 100kg iron because upthrust acts on both cooton as well as iron. Since cotton is of less density than that of iron therefore upthrust will be more whereas upthrust is less on iron compared to cotton.

Ans)))) The mass of cotton and the mass of iron both are same that is 100 kg each.

So they both will be same and no one will be heavier or lesser.

100 kg of cotton = 100 kg of iron

100 = 100
