Why (-2^2)=4 is true but -2^2=4 is false?​

(- 2^2)= - 2 x - 2 = 4 so, it is true.

-2^2 = - 2 x -2 = 4 so, it is also true.

(1) - × - = +

(2) - × + = -

(3) + × + =+

There is only one difference that one has bracket and one does not
