It depends on what axioms you allow, but if you allow me peano arithmetic, then we can proceed as follows,
2=S(S(0))2=S(S(0)) by definition.4=S(S(S(S(0))))4=S(S(S(S(0)))) by definition.Addition is defined by x+0=xx+0=x for all natural numbers xx, and x+S(y)=S(x+y)x+S(y)=S(x+y) for all natural numbers x,yx,y.Therefore
2+2=S(S(0))+S(S(0))2+2=S(S(0))+S(S(0))
=S(S(S(0))+S(0))=S(S(S(0))+S(0))
=S(S(S(S(0))+0))=S(S(S(S(0))+0))
=S(S(S(S(0))))
=4
if u like my answer plzz mark as brainliest one.....
