The Stability of a compound is directly proportional to the number of Alpha-Hydrogen attached to the double bonded carbon..

In this case, 2-Methylpropene has more no.of Alpha-Hydrogen than that of But-2-ene thus 2-Methylpropene is more stable than But-2-ene
