If 0-10V is transmitted over long distance, Due to the resistance of cable there will be drop in the voltage and the signal received at the controller will not be accurate and Noise interference will be High in voltage signal. ... To overcome this drawbacks, 4-20mA is preferred over 0-10V, 0-5V
