why √8 is not a rational number

√8 is a irrational number not rational number.

because if we go to simplify √8 then , we will get the following values.

√8= 2.828427...........................................

that will never stop.
and even it is also not repeating any sequence.

hence, it is non repeating and non terminating number.

that's why it is irrational number .

All the no. which is not terminated not repeated are irrational numbers and √8 is also not terminated not repeated number
