the standard meridian is situated in the centre of all longitudes and lattitudes,in which India is located. it passes through Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh. the Indian standard time is calculated on the basis of 82 ' 30 East longitude. it is West to mirzapur near Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh.
