Heya,

♧) The sunrises 2 hours earlier in Arunachal Pradesh than in Gujarat.

♧) This leads to a time gap of 2 hours between the two states.

♧) To avoid this confusion a Standard time has been taken as reference to the whole country.

♧) The longitude 83°30' east has been chosen as the standard time for the whole country.

♧) As it passes through the middle of country it is being accepted as the Indian Standard Time.

Hope it helps u ...

this is because 83.30 'E is located in mirzapur uttar pradesh which is somehow in middile of indian time zone if we compare from all 4 sides
as sun rises 2 hrs early in east and 2 hrs late in gujrat so to commodate the middle zone mirzapur stands better thats why 82.30'E is standard meridian of india
