why a combination reaction an Oxidation reaction​

Combination reaction is a reaction in which two elements react to form a single product. Like : Hydrogen reacts with oxygen to form water. Here oxygen gets attached or added to hydrogen and we know that oxidation means adding of oxygen. Hence we can say that combination reaction is also an oxidation reaction.

Some more types of reaction :

Decomposition reaction : The type of reaction in which one element get decomposed and form two or more products.

Displacement reaction : The reaction in which high reactive element diaplaces the other one.
