✌️✌️hey mate,

➡️Combination reaction :-
=====================
A combination reaction is a reaction in which two or more substance combine to form a new single substance

Example:-
2Mg + O2 ->2MgO

Here, oxygen is react with magnesium to form magnesium oxide

➡️Oxidation reaction:-
==================
A reaction in which oxygen is added to a compound is called Oxidation reaction.

Example:-
2Mg + O2 -> 2MgO

Here Also , oxygen is react with magnesium to form magnesium oxide.So, they are same because in the above reaction we also added oxygen that's why combination reaction is also called Oxidation reaction.

thanks...

Combination reaction is a reaction in which two compounds react with each other to form one product. Oxygen reacts with carbon to form carbon dioxide. ... Oxidation reaction is a reaction in which we add oxygen. In above reaction, we added oxygen and so it is called an oxidation reaction.
