Why a deep blue color [cocl4]2- complex turns to pink color complex [co(h2o)6]2+ upon dilution with water whereas the color of [nicl4]2- remains unchanged upon dilution?

As you can see that [CoCl4]2- is tetrahedral in nature whereas [Co(H2O)6]2+  is octahedral in nature.
