An amphibian is a creature thatstarts out as water breathing animal butgrows into an air breathing animal. This is somewhat contrary to popular belief that amphibians live both in water and on land.Bcoz frogs fit into this characteristic, they are amphibians. Frogs begin their livesin water as eggs and then tadpoles and when they are fully developed they live on land.
