WHY A FUSE IS ALWAYS CONNECTED IN LIVE WIRE AND NOT IN NEUTRAL WIRE?

its like when a fuse is connected to a live wire,it will protect it from getting burns and fire because in case of high electricity passing through the live wire,there can be possibilities of breaking out of fire.so in this case the fuse helps by breaking itself to stop short circuiting.on the other hand if it is connected to a neutral wire which has no electricity passing through it,it creates harm to human by creating severe shock.

if the fuse is connected in the live wire it will collect the malfunctioning extra voltage of current and then it burns and break the circuit.
when it is connected in neutral wire which already nullify the extra voltage,it is useless and sometimes have a chance to get shock
