Because of there autonomy peoples in a family think that boy will give us name and money and girl will take money in her marriage i.e., people sad on girls birth

It is believed in conservative minds of people that if a girl is born than at the time of marriage the parents have to pay dowry.
and if a boy is born then boy will earn money and care for the wellbeing of parents
