Why a gun receives backward kick when a bullet is fired from it? Explain

This happens because of Newton's law that is.....

action and reaction is equal and opposite

It means that when bullet is fired it's action and when gun receives a backward
kick it is reaction.....

This is because of Newton's third law that "For every action there is equal and opposite reaction" when bullet is fired out of the gun the gun get's back (Moment of inertia) occurs in that time
