why a hollow glass sphere which floats with its entire volume submerged in water at 4 degree Celsius sinks when water is heated above 4 degree celcius

The density of substances changes on heating. At 4°C ,the density of water is maximum. An object will stay afloat on water till its density is less than that of the density of water.

the density of hollow sphere is less than the density of water at 4°C, therefore it stays afloat. When the water is heated above the 4°C, the density of water decreases and the density of the sphere becomes more than the density of water. As a result, the hollow glass sphere sinks.
