Why a object appears "red" or "green" or "blue" or whatever colour to us?

Pls answer it fast..

Explanation:

White objects look white because they reflect back all the visible wavelengths of light that shine on them - so the light still looks white to us. Colored objects, on the other hand, reflect back only some of the wavelengths; the rest they absorb. ... And it cannot look blue because the red ball absorbs blue light.

White light consists of Red, green andblue monochromatic colours in it.

An object appears to be the colour of light that it reflects back into our eyes.

Every object absorbs certain wavelengths of light and reflects some of them as well.

An object appears red, when it absorbs green and blue light.

An object appears blue, when it absorbs green and red light.

An object appears green,when it absorbs blue and red light.

Example: Leaves appear green, because chlorophyll-aand chlorophyll-b present in leaves absorb green and red light the most and reflect back green light.
