Why a person suffering from aids can't fight even very minor infections?

{AIDs is a disease in which the microbes totally damage the immune system and makes the body weak to release antibodies etc.. Therefore,a person suffering from AIDs  cannot fight even very small infections

To fight even a very minor infection a sufficient amount of lymphocytes are needed. In AIDs the immune system of our body becomes very weakened. As a result sufficient amount of WBC(The main immune cells of our body) is not produced in our body.
