Why a sharp needle pierce the skin easily but not a blunt needle although the force applied on both the needle is same

As we know that sharp needle has the greater Force acting per unit area than the blunt needle.
It means that a sharp needle can pierce the skin easily as there is a greater pressure acting on to skin by needle but in case of blunt needle it won't happen.
