Hello user !!!

Your answer :-

→ Firstly we will have three types of medium ...

》solids

》Liquids nd

》Gases .

Solid objects :- Molecules will be tightly packed in this case.

ex :- Wooden table , book , pen etc ...

Liquids :- These are like water , molecules are arranged by having little space .

Ex :- water , juices etc.

Gases :- In this case , the molecules are arranged far away from each other.
ex :- Oxyhen , CO2 etc etc

Now , why wooden table is called solid ?

→ Wooden table is having tightly packed molecules and is strong enough to hold things.

→Hence , it is classified under solid category .

Hope this helps you (^-^)

Before categorizing any sub as a solid/liquid/gas we generally check its 3 prop.
1)rigidity
2)definite shape
3)definite vol.
If it has all three basic prop. it is categarised as a solid..
since wooden table has these basic characteristics of solid state it should be called as a solid..

Hope it helps
