English is a global lang. used in international trades it opens a very wide variety of economic activities that will surely make India a suitable country for MNCs to establish call centers .... English opens a wide variety of economic approaches which will increase the employment rates at a very high %age and also help India to develop .
No single language is given the status of national lang. because of the diversity , in areas like rural or poor people favour local lang over hindi or english . no national lang will help the poor or low educated ppl by providing them the opportunity to take loans , open bank acc and be aware of plans that will benefits them
