Bioaccumulation means accumulation of toxic substances, and other chemical substances. It occurs when organism absorb possibly toxic substances faster than the substances lost by excretion. In that wayaccumulation of harmful chemicals can not be avoided but it can be reduced. it can be reduced by reducing the levels in the food chain.. for eg in a food chain like... plants-goat-humans.. humans are at higher level so accumulation of chemicals will be more.. but if the food chain is like this...
