In aerobic respiration, oxygen enters the body and in large animals like humans green pigment called haemoglobin present in RBCs carry oxygen to each cell present in our body and hence the process is intermolecular respiration.

1. aerobic
the process of respiration which occur in presence of oxygen is called aerobic respiration.
2. anaerobic
the process of respiration which occurs in without oxygen is called anaerobic respiration.
