Why african americans are less black than real africans?

That's a bold statement to make, but... it's not that they are less black, it is that they have been isolated from mainland Africa for centuries their culture and cultural identity have evolved isolated, also, because of mixes between whites and blacks in America, the genetic pool of African Americans are different from Mainland Africans.

Maybe because African-Americans are mixed that's why the color of the americans mixed to the color of Africans.
