Why agricultural practice is not practise in Kokan region ?

Kokan region is situated in Maharashtra.
Kokan region is the coastline of Maharashtra.
Due to which Kokan region also has a blare amount of mountains, so it's impossible to bring land under cultivation. So agriculture is not in Kokan region
