why Aids called a syndrome not a disease

AIDS also known as “Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome” is the last stage of HIV infection. AIDS is designated as a “syndrome” since a group of health problems are characteristic of the disease and as a consequence you get viral, bacterial, fungal and parasitic infections.

Aids called syndrome not a disease because aids attack the immune system due to this body become weak and body not able to fight against disease and person suffers from many disease beacuse of weak immune system. Syndrome also means collection of symptoms and disease.
