It is because due to AIDS our immune system also gets affected by many other diseases and the immune system becomes weak that it is vulnerable to any pathogen. It is also a fatal disease because it weakens the immune system and the body will be prone to a lot of communicable diseases which lasts for a lifetime and leads to death.
