AIDS stands for ACQUIRED IMMUNO DEFECIENCY SYNDROME..

AIDS is not a disease..it's a syndrome. Because, the syndrome is a collection of symptoms. But, disease not like syndrome.

There are so many symptoms for AIDS...so It's a syndrome!
