Why air diffuses faster than oxygen gas

Hi friend,

Gases have large inter particle spaces between them because of weaker force of attraction. Lighter Gases diffuse more faster than heavier ones. Because lighter Gases have more kinetic energy than heavier gases. So oxygen is heavier gas than air so diffusion is faster in air than in oxygen.
