Why air is called mixture? ?

hiii,

air is a mixture of gases like oxygen, nitrogen etc. The compounds that form these gases are bounded, but most important which is a element and makes about more than half is not chemically bounded so air is a mixture

air is called as a mixture because the compounds by which air is made up of different gases like oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen etc  and when we freeze air , air's different layer freeze at different temperature so it is a mixture not a single thing
