Hey there

Let's start

Question - Why Al3+ is more stable than Al+, while Tl + is more stable than Tl3+. Give reason.

Answer -

So you might be knowing that a element whose outermost shell is filled is more stable and unreactive as it doesn't require any change of Electrons

Al atomic number =13

It's configuration =2,8,3

Now see if Al gives 3 it will be stable

So al gives 3 Electrons and becomes al 3+

It's more stable than al+

Now you know the concept.

The same applies for TI

Hope it helped
